Location: Myanmar

Year: 2017

Application: Hydraulic system for service station

Hydraulic System for Service Station in Myanmar

Project Overview

In 2017, a modern firefighting and pressurization hydraulic system was installed at a car wash and service station in Myanmar. The system was specifically designed to meet the operational needs of vehicle cleaning and emergency safety. It features a reliable combination of Foras series pumps: PLUS SV-SL-SLX, KM, and EPIC single-phase controllers.

The Challenge

The client required a hydraulic system that could guarantee consistent water pressure for car washing operations, while also providing a dependable firefighting backup system in case of emergencies. The challenge was to design a compact, energy-efficient, and durable system suitable for Myanmar's climate and service demands.

Our Solution

We delivered a custom-built hydraulic structure using:

  • P18 SL-750/8T Pump

A versatile and high-performance pump from the SL series, known for its excellent head-pressure and durability in continuous use. Ideal for high-demand car wash operations.

  • KM213 Pump

A robust, self-priming pump from the KM series, designed for ease of installation and maintenance, offering reliable pressure for firefighting and washing stations alike.

  • EPIC Single-Phase Control Panel

This controller ensures stable and safe operation of the pumps. It offers user-friendly management of start/stop operations, pressure settings, and system protection, even during voltage fluctuations — a crucial feature in Myanmar’s grid environment.

These components form a firefighting and pressurization system capable of delivering consistent, high-pressure water flow while remaining efficient and easy to maintain.

Results

The project resulted in a highly efficient hydraulic system that enhanced the service station’s car washing performance while providing reliable firefighting capabilities. The installed Foras pumps and EPIC control panels delivered:

  • Stable and adjustable pressure

  • Energy-efficient operation

  • Low maintenance requirements

  • Increased safety for both workers and customers

Since 2017, the system continues to perform optimally, proving the quality and reliability of the Foras pump range in demanding service station environments.
