Compact pressure boosting system for automatic water supply consisting of 3 vertical stainless steel pumps with inline (SL) or overlapped (SV) suction/delivery. Pumps operation are controlled by pressure switches installed on delivery manifold and directly connected to the control panel.
 
The booster sets PLUS+VSD are fully automatic systems equipped with two (2P+VSD) or three (3P+VSD) speed controlled pumps. The booster sets PLUS+VSD deliver the highest comfort level for domestic, agricultural and industrial applications, ensuring constant pressure, low energy consumption and protection against overload and dry running. Required the installation of a membrane tank.

FUNCTIONING 
When the system pressure drops below the desired level, the sensors detect it, giving an input to the VSD to start the first pump at controlled speed. If the flow rate were not sufficient, the pressure continues to drop, causing the second and the third pump to start. As soon as the flow demand decreases, the pressure rises again and the second and third pumps stop. The first pump continues to modulate its speed in order to regulate and maintain the set pressure until it turns off when the flow demand ends. Based on working hours, VSDs will alternate the starting order of pumps to ensure better wear distribution. Continuity of operation is ensured in the event of one pump or one VSD failure.
