Location: Managua, Nicaragua
Year: 2025
Application: Hospital Water Supply & Pressure Boosting
In 2025, EES Energie-Erzeugung-Systeme GmbH successfully supplied a FORAS water pressure boosting solution for a hospital facility in Managua, Nicaragua.
Hospitals require a stable and dependable water supply throughout the building. Fluctuating pressure or interruptions can affect sanitary facilities, cleaning operations, technical services and the overall day-to-day operation of the facility. The project therefore required a reliable booster pump system capable of maintaining consistent water pressure under changing demand conditions.
For this installation, a three-pump configuration based on FORAS multistage pumps was selected to provide the required hydraulic performance and operational reliability.
The Challenge
The hospital needed a pressure boosting system capable of supporting continuous water distribution across the facility while maintaining stable pressure during periods of varying consumption.
The solution also had to be suitable for long operating cycles and provide sufficient capacity to support the hospital's daily water requirements. For this type of critical building infrastructure, reliability, hydraulic efficiency and dependable operation were key considerations.

Our Solution: FORAS P7S-300/6T
EES GmbH supplied a booster system equipped with three FORAS P7S-300/6T (PLUS S) multistage horizontal pumps, configured for the project's 380 V / 60 Hz electrical supply.
The P7S-300/6T belongs to the FORAS PLUS S range of multistage pumps designed for clean-water applications and pressure boosting systems. The standard model provides a maximum flow rate of approximately 10.8 m³/h (180 l/min) and a maximum head of 70.5 m, making this pump family suitable for applications where both pressure and reliable water delivery are required.
Its construction incorporates stainless-steel components, including the pump body and impellers, while the multistage hydraulic design provides the pressure characteristics required for demanding building water systems.
Why FORAS P7S-300/6T?

The pump solution was selected for several important characteristics:
High-pressure multistage design for building water pressure boosting
Up to 10.8 m³/h flow rate per pump
Up to 70.5 m maximum head
Stainless-steel AISI 304 pump body and impellers
Suitable for clean and drinking-water applications
Compact horizontal multistage construction
Reliable operation for demanding water supply installations
Three-pump configuration providing additional system capacity and operational flexibility
The FORAS PLUS S range is specifically designed for applications including pressurization, drinking-water supply, water treatment, heating, air-conditioning and other clean-fluid systems.
Results
The installed FORAS booster pump system provides the hospital with stable water pressure and dependable water distribution throughout the facility.
Using three multistage pumps allows the system to respond effectively to changing water demand while supporting continuous operation. The result is a reliable pressure boosting solution designed to help maintain the hospital's essential water supply during everyday operation.
This project demonstrates how FORAS multistage water pumps can be integrated into professional booster systems for hospitals, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings and other infrastructure where consistent water pressure is essential.
